My name is Shelby Marie Droski. I am a senior at Sparta High School. I have gone here since Kindergarten. I now live in Jenison, 26.0 miles away from Sparta High School, but I love Sparta SO much that I drive here, every single day, rain or shine! (I prefer the shine). I am currently on the Varsity Cheer Team! I have done cheerleading since 4th grade. I am also a member Y.A.C and I am the Vice President of Student Council. Over the summer this year I got the opportunity to work at the Whitecaps. It was probably the best job ever! I had so much fun there and I'm hoping to go back next year. I have 3 older brothers who all graduated from Sparta. My oldest brother, Rick, is 24. After he graduated he went to Central Michigan University for sports management. He graduated from there and went to Western Illinois University to get his Masters Degree. Rick now has a job at Montana State University as the Assistant Ticket Manager. My next oldest brother is Doug, he is 23. He is currently attending CMU for a teaching degree for elementary ed. My last older brother is Tyler, he's 18. He graduated from Sparta in 2011 and was the Homecoming King. He also goes to CMU for a teaching degree. This is his second year in the CMU marching band. I'm sure everyone knows that my dad is the Athletic Director here at Sparta. He graduated from CMU and GVSU. As he would say "Fire up Chips!". My mom works at Michigan Turkey Producers as an Accounting Supervisor. She also graduated from CMU and GVSU. You may be wondering if I will also be going to Central. But the answer is no! I will be going to Ferris State University after I graduate. I am going to be studying Dental Hygiene. Also, if you couldn't tell I really, really, really enjoy sparkles. They just make everything happier. :)
I am taking this class because my choices were this class or drama and I felt like AP Bio was a more productive class to take. I know this class will challenge me from all comments from students who already took it. It will also help me in the future with my college classes and with my career. I hope this class helps me gain more skills for college, like studying and homework.

ReplyDeleteYou're so funny Shelby. I'm glad we'll have this class together because this competitive we can keep eacho ther company while we have to do all this textbook reading!
You are obviously proud of your family (as you should be). I now feel bad for saying not so nice things about FSU and wish you the best of luck there. I think you certainly made the correct choice in which class to take :)
